While Olympique de Marseille has just launched its season in Ligue 1, the Marseille club is about to separate from Jonathan Rowe and Adrien Rabiot. If the departure of the first was already in the pipes of the vice-champion of France, that of the second stems directly from the altercation with its teammate after the defeat against Rennes (0-1).

A choice that makes some observers cringe, who believe that the Roberto de Zerbi team may well come out of this episode. Pascal Dupraz, the former coach of Thonon Évian Gaillard FC, goes even further, according to him, placing the tricolor on the transfers will be “like” prejudicial to heaven and white.

“He had established a love relationship with his audience”

The Savoyard has also sunk the point home:“How to get fire to it, weigh down on lead?” This is the Marseille Olympic solution. (…) How are we going to replace Rabiot sportingly? He was an important OM player. Who agreed to come to Marseille while he is ancient from PSG. And who despite everything had established a love relationship with his audience as he was praised by his leaders and his coach ”dropped Dupraz.

Before concluding, just as sharp: “Football is mainly complementarity. Højbjerg-Rabiot, it was complementary. And we're going to have to find a player to replace Rabiot. Is it done like that, snapping fingers? »»
