For several months, the relationship between Nuno Espirito Santo and its president, Evangelis Marinakis, in Nottingham Forest has been weird. At the end of last season, the Greek businessman was notably virulent towards his coach after a draw against Leicester (2-2) which took the last hopes of qualification in the Champions League for the Trees. Finally, Nottingham will play Europa League this season. An attractive culmination for a team still in Championship a few years ago. However, the Greek leader of the NFFC is still as virulent with his Portuguese coach. Constantly called into question, the former Tottenham tactician came out of silence this Friday at a press conference and confirmed that his future on the Nottingham bench was uncertain:

“Where there is smoke, there is fire. I have always had a very good relationship with the owner – last season, we were very close and we were talking about daily. This season, it's not going very well (between us), but I still believe that dialogue is important, because I am concerned about the team and the season that awaits us. Our relationship has changed and we are no longer as close. No, it's not a good thing. I think everyone at the club should be together, but it is not reality. »»
