Five days after a draw against Crystal Palace at home (0-0), Chelsea did the job. This Friday evening on the occasion of the second day of the Premier League, the players of Enzo Maresca corrected West Ham (1-5) in what was however announced as a disputed derby. It could have resembled it if the Hammers had not liquefied after the equalization of Joao Pedro (15th, 1-1), which had responded to the magnificent opening of the score of Lucas Paqueta of a distant strike (6th, 1-0). A Pedro served another one afterwards, since the Brazilian offered a caviar to Neto for the purpose of 2-1 (23rd).

Enzo Fernández added his name to the stats sheet taking advantage of a superb work by Estevao, author of his first decisive pass in the Premier League (34th, 1-3). Caicedo scored the fourth goal on corner after a nasty hand for Hermansen's hand (54th, 1-4), then Trevoh Chalobah finished the work, still on stopped phase (58th, 1-5). A welcome success for Chelsea, who may be launching his season.
