Borussia Dortmund is interested in the Chelsea defender, Aaron Anselmino, for a loan. The 20 -year -old Argentinian joined the London club from Boca Juniors in August 2024 for around 17 million pounds sterling, or almost 20 million euros according to The Athletic. After a first loan to his training club, he was recalled in January, but only played two games this season under Maresca, notably due to several injuries to the hamstrings. Chelsea now wishes to offer him more playing time through a loan abroad, Dortmund being one of the interested clubs.
Chelsea coach, Enzo Maresca, seems open to the start of his player this summer, he confirmed this possibility at a press conference: “He is a good player, but he needs to play, he must leave (on loan) and he is another player who awaits a solution”. If this loan materialized, Anselmino would follow the same path as Carney Chukwuemeka, already loaned last season in Dortmund, in a strategy that allows the English club to give playing time to its young talents while preparing their future.
