New adventure for Jean-Pierre Papin! Since the end of May, the future of the former footballer has been the subject of many speculations. After his last match on the bench of OM Pro 2 in National 3, the 1991 Ballon d'Or was at the end of the contract with the Marseille club.

This Wednesday, The Parisian revealed that OM legend (1986-1992) joined RMC. The former striker will lend his voice on the waves in the Talk-show Rothen ignites, animated by Jérôme Rothen Monday to Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. He will also intervene alongside Carine Galli, a new recruit, in the Sunday afternoon of Ligue 1.

An experience that is not a first for Papin. After the end of his player career in 2004, he had already practiced as a consultant for TF1, France Télévisions, RTL, Canal+ or BeIN Sports. This new step on RMC will allow him to find the microphone, but this time in a large national radio.

Papin, like at home

On RMC, Papin will be able to count on the presence of several former Marseillais, including Christophe Dugarry, Éric Di Meco or Pascal Olmeta, thus reinforcing OM dynamics on the air. This configuration promises passionate exchanges on the news of Ligue 1 and the Marseille club.
