Following recent recruitments by Manchester United, the offensive order has been rebatted, and if the future of Rasmus Højlund is moving away from the club, Joshua Zirkzee could borrow a different trajectory.

As should be expected, the successive arrivals of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin šeško have deeply disrupted the offensive hierarchy of Manchester United. The first sacrificed is none other than Rasmus Højlund, pushed towards the exit by the direction despite his ardent desire to establish himself in Old Trafford.

On a lesser scale, Joshua Zirkzee also undergoes the consequences of this upheaval. Present in the group against Arsenal (0-1), the Dutch striker did not have the slightest minute of play to put himself under the tooth.

A departure envisaged in attack

However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, a departure from the former Bologna player is not on the agenda. Red Devils coach Ruben Amorim continues to consider Zirkzee as part of his plans.

Thus, the only departure that is looming remains that of Højlund. For his part, Zirkzee will likely have to accept a more secondary role and a reduced playing time this season.
