Study, Benjamin Pavard towards a surprise transfer?

Landed at Inter Milan in the summer of 2023 from Bayern Munich for just over 30 million euros, Benjamin Pavard is the subject of rumors concerning his future in recent days. He said to himself in Italy in particular that the Nerazzurri would have opened the door to a departure during this summer transfer window of their tricolor international.

If, for the moment, the former Lille is not pushed towards the exit, his departure would be seen in a good eye by the interist leaders. Indeed, the latter would seek to balance their accounts and the significant salary of Pavard – 5 million euros net per year – would make it possible to considerably alleviate the payroll.

For his part, the versatile defender of 29 years would not be completely closed to a departure this summer, reports the newspaper L'Equipe. He would also not be opposed to staying an additional season in Lombardy, where he is still under contract until June 2028, in order to keep a certain stability a year from the World Cup.

Pavard not insensitive

If he is not completely closed to the idea of going to see elsewhere this summer, Benjamin Pavard would not be ready to accept any proposal. Still according to the sports media, the 2018 world champion was notably approached by Saudi training, but also by English and Spanish stables not competing in the Champions League. Contacts to which the player and his entourage did not follow up.

On the other hand, Pavard is said to be listening to Galatasaray, which is one of the main animators of this summer transfer window. The Turkish club would be very interested in the idea of attaching the services of the French, attracted by the fervor of the Stambouliote club.
