After being reversed by his main targets in attack, Newcastle may well succeed in recruiting Nicolas Jackson (24). Indeed, unlike Hugo Ekitike, who preferred Liverpool, and Benjamin Šeško, who joined Manchester United, the Senegalese striker, who has already informed the management of the blues of his wish to leave, has chosen the team of Eddie Howe as a privileged destination, reports The Telegraph.

The British daily specifies, however, that this transfer depends on Newcastle's desire to sell or not the Swedish striker Alexander Isak in Liverpool. The latter was informed by the management of the Magpies that he was not for sale, but the Reds did not say their last word in one of the last leaflets of the transfer window. While Isak is under contract until 2028, Newcastle would claim more than 170 million euros to let the star go from his attack.
