Aymeric Laporte has hard life in Al-Nassr. Despite several recent attempts to resolve his situation at the end of the internship in Portugal, the 31 -year -old central defender remains blocked in the Saudi club, when he wishes to put an end to his contract. The Jorge Jesus team, as well as the sports management, have already decided that Laporte and the Portuguese Otávio will no longer be part of the club's sports project.
However, Al-Nassr refuses to easily release the two players, especially the Spanish international (40 selections, 2 goals), whose termination requests are perceived as a disguised means of freely joining Athletic Bilbao, reports Marca. The club, where João Félix and Cristiano Ronaldo evolve in particular, therefore plans to register Laporte only in the Asian Champions League to avoid sanctions from FIFA, while keeping it from other competitions. He thus risks spending a “imprisoned” season, with his salary of 25 million euros, but without visibility or hope of selection for the World Cup.
