The Genoa CFC and its equipment supplier Kappa once again reveal a striking piece with the 2025/26 outdoor jersey, placed under the sign of the History and the Genoese identity. Dominated by the Saint-Georges cross, a red cross on a white background, the design is inspired directly with the flag of the Republic of Genoa, a symbol that is also found in the club's coat of arms alongside the legendary Griffon. More than a simple graphic element, this cross embodies a deeply rooted heritage in the city and its club. It also evokes a strong link with England: in the Middle Ages, English ships could display the Saint-Georges cross in exchange for a tribute paid to Genoa, reinforcing a cultural bridge that this jersey proudly claims.

This historic gateway between Genoa and the Anglo-Saxon world is also at the heart of the launch campaign, carried by the slogan “It's coming home” (He returns home, editor's note). A wink assumed at the British origins of Genoa, founded in 1893 by English citizens, including James Richardson Spensley, a central figure in the development of Italian football. The jersey is decorated with neat details: the cross reappears at the back of the pass, a griffon in relief underlines the torso, and the whole is sublimated by modern finishes. Turned between London and Genoa, the campaign celebrates this double anchoring through the image of the Luigi-Ferraris stadium, a real architectural bridge between tradition and modernity.
