The Ligue 1 season begins in just over a week and there were questions about the new channel created for the occasion by the LFP in order to broadcast the championship meetings. Ligue 1+, which succeeds Dazn, takes up the reins with a possibility of subscribing from August 11 to follow most of the matches, with the exception of one meeting per day dedicated to BeIN Sports.
One of the major questions on the part of the public concerned the possibility, following a rumor, to use an account for two thanks to the screen sharing. At first, it had been implied that the option would only be possible in the same home. The disappointment of certain subscribers will undoubtedly give way to satisfaction.
Subscription sharing is possible
In a series of responses to Tweets of Internet users on X, the official Ligue 1+ account posed: “There is no concept of a home for the management of the two screens”. Translation, football fans wishing to subscribe to the new platform will therefore be able to do it for two, sharing the costs, without the need to be in the same place.
As a reminder, the prices announced by Ligue 1+ are as follows:
- 19.99 euros per month without commitment for two screens
- 14.99 euros per month for a year of engagement and two screens
- 9.99 euros for -26 years via their mobile operator and on tablet, smartphone or computer
