Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso, is not entirely satisfied with the presence of Rodrygo in his workforce, despite the lively interest of Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners are still looking for an offensive option despite the arrival of Viktor Gyokeres, while their lifelong rivals, the Spurs, identified the Brazilian winger as a potential replacement of the outgoing captain his heung-min.

Madrid's position revealed

According to The Athletic, Alonso always seeks to recruit players before the summer transfer window and will look for a replacement in Rodrygo if the Brazilian leaves Santiago Bernabéu. The Spanish coach is “not fully satisfied” by the winger, who works with his agent Pini Zahavi on a possible departure, because he is not certain of his role within the team.

The report also claims that, even if Alonso claims some additional reinforcements from its workforce, the club clearly said that it had nothing to recruit and that the coach will have to be satisfied with his current workforce. The Merengues, on the other hand, would be ready to sell the star of the Seleçao if an appropriate offer was presented to them.

The uncertain future of Rodrygo in the Spanish club worries the English giants like Arsenal and Tottenham, who wish to recruit the winger to strengthen their attack. With the departure of his this summer, the Spurs could notably take advantage of the signature of the 24 -year -old.
