Since the start of the transfer window, Stade Rennais has been moving forward without making any noise. But behind behind the scenes, a file takes on an increasing importance. While the Breton club is preparing the succession of Arnaud Kalimuendo, an unexpected track takes shape: a young scorer with an explosive profile, still unknown to the general public but followed very closely by Rennes recruiters.

Rennes aims for a Goleador from the cold

Franculino Gluda Djú, Bissau-Guinean striker of FC Midtjylland, is today the priority of SRFC in attack. This is revealed by the youth football media. At 21, he came out of a season at 16 goals and 6 assists in Denmark, and has already scored 5 goals in 3 games since the recovery. Its liveliness, its power and its margin of progression seduce internally. Rennes, which plans to transfer Kalimuendo around 30 to 35 million euros, wants to reinvest intelligently. And as for Jérémy Doku at the time, the Breton club believes in raw potential more than notoriety.

Third top scorer in Ligue 1 last season, Kalimuendo is clearly on the market. Rennes awaits nearly 35 M € Bonus included. Atalanta has slowed down at this price, but Milan, Leipzig and Tottenham remain on the lookout. With this in mind, French would represent a beautiful economic and sporting rocking.

A coherent strategy despite the risks

In addition to the attack, Loïc Désiré also targets the young defender Sadibou Sané (Metz), competitor within the elite, and remains in the race for Anthony Dennis (Göztepe) in the middle. The Breton club also pursues its austerity cure by lending Østigård to Genoa and by releasing Jaouab to Valladolid.

Between Paris with high potential and methodical purification, the Mercato Rennais traces a clear CAP. It remains to transform these intentions into results, as at the time of a certain Doku … or Camavonga.
