Galatasaray pays € 75 million for Victor Osimhen

Historical transfer to Türkiye. After a convincing loan last season when he scored 26 goals and delivered 5 offerings in 30 Süper Lig games, the Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen remains in Galatasaray. The Lagos native thus saw the Turkish training achieve a historic transfer by spending 75 million euros in this file, or 40 million euros now and 35 million euros next season.

To this are added clauses such as the prohibition to sell it in Serie A before 2027. A long and thorny file which finally finds its conclusion with the return to Turkey of the 26 -year -old striker. With this transfer, Victor Osimhen explodes the record of Orkun Köçu arrived this summer in Besiktas this summer against 25 million euros and which had become the biggest arrival in the history of the Süper Lig.

End of history with Napoli

Former player of Wolfsburg and Lille, Victor Osimhen had revived last season after an end of tumultuous love story with Napoli. Proud to announce his comeback, Galatasaray split a press release: “The professional footballer Victor James Osimhen was transferred following an agreement concluded with his former club, the SSCN Napoli Spa. As part of the agreement, a net transfer compensation of 75 million euros will be paid to its former club. In addition, 10 % of the benefit of the future player sales will be donated to the SSCN Napoli Spa. A four-year contract was signed with the player, from the 2025-2026 season. According to the agreement, the player will receive a guaranteed annual net salary of 15,000,000 euros, a net loyalty bonus of 1,000,000 euros per season and 5,000,000 euros per season for image rights ”indicates the Stambouliote club.
