Bayern Munich has found a new weight ally: Emirates. The Dubai airline becomes sponsor and partner of the German club for a period of seven years, up to 35 million euros in total according to the German newspaper Sport Bild. Even if the Emirates logo will not appear on the main jersey, for the moment reserved for Deutsche Telekom, this agreement marks a strategic advance for both parties. Bayern strengthens its international attractiveness, while Emirates increases its visibility in Germany via the most titled club in Bundesliga.

This commitment surprises, because Emirates usually favors very visible partnerships, especially on club jerseys such as Real Madrid, Arsenal or Milan AC. Despite the absence of commercial flights to Germany, the company puts here on a strong media presence. This partnership could also benefit from Bayern tours in Asia and the Middle East. The official announcement is expected in the coming days, at the same time as the renewal of the contract with Telekom, extended until 2032 for 65 million euros per season.
