Dimitri Payet will have to face a lawsuit in Brazil. According to a source close to the file quoted Monday by theAFPa judge from Rio de Janeiro validated, on July 25, the complaint filed by Larissa Ferrari, a 28 -year -old lawyer who claims to have had a link with the former Marseillais. She accuses him of psychological and emotional violence.

Indictment by the prosecution on June 20, Payet is targeted, according to O GloboFor “Acts and abusive and degrading remarks, such as humiliations, manipulations and mockery”. Ferrari had filed a complaint in March, also evoking physical, moral, psychological and sexual violence. She claims that the player would have imposed her
“Love evidence” deemed humiliating, as
“Drinking your own urine or licking the ground”.

Aged 38, Payet recognizes an extramarital relationship, but disputes any form of mistreatment. According to the local press, citing a police report, the former French international would have admitted the affair, but refuted the accusations. During his visit to Vasco Da Gama, he lived alone in Rio, without his wife or his children.

Heavy consequences

The prosecution requires the condemnation of French, as well as the payment of damages to cover the medical care of the complainant. She says he suffers from depression, anxiety and strong emotional dependence since their relationship.

Arrived in 2023 in Brazil, Payet ended his contract with Vasco in June. Currently without a club, he sees this judicial affair coming darken his end of career already very uncertain. The investigation remains for the moment covered by judicial secrecy.
