Thomas Müller's future could well be written to the other end of the world … but not in the United States. Long announced close to a departure to Major League Soccer (MLS), the German versatile striker, now free since the expiration of his contract with Bayern Munich after the Club World Cup, would have an unexpected alternative in Australia.

According to information from Sydney Morning Heraldthe Bavarian legend would be in advanced discussions with the Sydney FC, a resident of the A-League. The two parties would plan to conclude a major agreement for the Australian championship.

An imminent decision

Still according to the local media, Müller's priority remains the MLS. However, the interest displayed by the Sky Blues is among the rare options that he really takes into consideration.

The epilogue of this file is expected in the next few days. The 2014 world champion is expected to render his final decision within a week.
