A month after Moses Simon from FC Nantes and Noah Sangui from the Stade de Reims, Paris FC finally records its third recruit. Failing to agree with the LOSC to tear Benjamin André (in order to make it his taulier in the middle), the promoted in Ligue 1 offered himself the Brazilian central defender Otavio, 23. According to
O jogothe transfer compensation given to FC Porto would be 17 million euros (and three in bonuses)!

The PFC gives itself the means of its ambitions and nobody expected less. The Parisian club – named PSG from 1970 to 1972 before a split! – has not evolved in the elite for 46 years, but has obviously entered a new era since its acquisition, last November, by the Arnault family. Bernard Arnault, notably at the head of LVMH, is one of the most influential multimillionaires in the world (even if his fortune would have gone from 190 billion euros in 2024 to 117 in 2025).

As the president of the Pierre Ferracci club indicates to
MarcaParis FC has “Reach the European level as quickly as possible”but not anything, by building “In the long term, based on the first two teams on the development of young players”thanks in particular to “Potential of the Paris region”.

Paris FC like Barça?

In this project giving pride of place to the Ile -de -France pool, the PFC says it is ready to integrate young talents in the first team
“As some Spanish or Italian clubs do”. Pierre Ferracci provides: “I am inspired by what Barcelona has done, by founding the development of the club on a high -level training center. For me, this is the model to follow. Training will be the club's economic and sporting engine in the future ”. The Red Bull group, a minority shareholder, will be good advice since it is exactly the project in Leipzig and Salzburg.

In the meantime, the new residents of the Jean-Bouin stadium (the French Stadium, glued to the Parc des Princes) will strengthen the team of Stéphane Gilli (former assistant of Mécha Bazdarevic, René Girard and Vahid Halilhodzic). According to The Parisianthe Parisian leaders still wanted to recruit a guardian, a right side, a midfielder (André or another), a winger and a center-forward. Even if, as ferracci promises, “Little by little, we will turn more and more to young people in the training center”.
