The day after a first preparation meeting won against a Dutch D3 (5-0), Roberto de Zerbi's OM continues with a second friendly in the Netherlands, this time against a Belgian D2.

OM supporters could certainly no longer watch (or not) the meetings of the World Cup of clubs, especially those of PSG, for free on Dazn. Before finding their team in Ligue 1 then in the Champions League next season, many were those to follow the first preparation match of the training of Roberto de Zerbi on Sunday afternoon against the Excelsior Maassluis.

Adrien Rabiot and his teammates only made a bite of this bad team of Dutch D3 (who almost went down in D4 in May), winning him 5-0. Five goals scored in the first period. The defensive recruit Facundo Medina opened the scoring on a corner (16th), before a hat -trick for the top scorer for the previous exercise, Mason Greenwood (28th, 35th and 39th), as well as a well -placed strike from Jonathan Rowe (38th).

Olympique de Marseille has made a live audience box on its YouTube channel, with more than 130,000 spectators simultaneously, for a total of 700,000 views for the video in question. The summary of the meeting then exceeded 100,000 views.

OM against Valence, Seville and Aston Villa!

The Phocaeans are back this Monday afternoon (kick-off at 6 p.m.) with a second friendly match organized at the KVNB Campus, the Dutch Federation Training Center, south of Amsterdam. The second opponent of the preseason is called the Royal Olympic Club of Charleroi, which is promoted in Belgian D2. The opportunity for De Zerbi's executives to unroll again or to replacements Neal Maupay and Amine Harit to shine after having disappointed Maassluis.

OM players will only return a few days in Provence before leaving for Spain, for two more serious friendly matches against Liga teams, Girona on Saturday and Valence the following Tuesday. The Vélodrome will then vibrate during two posters at home against Seville and Aston Villa, on August 2 and 9, before a first in Ligue 1 against Stade Rennais, on August 15 in Brittany.
