Olympique de Marseille does not drop the case for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Only a year after his departure in Saudi Arabia, OM dreams of repatriating his former scorer, who had joined Al-Qadsiah with a very lucrative contract. The reunion now seem to be on the right track.

Since the start of the transfer window, the Aubameyang soap opera has hosted the Marseille transfers market. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, discussions would already be underway between OM and the entourage of the player for a two -seasons contract. A track that ignites the supporters, impatient to see the former Gunners captain in the Marseille jersey.

Signed termination

However, for this transfer to be possible, Aubameyang had to free himself from his commitment with Al-Qadsiah, OM not having the capacity to pay a transfer compensation. It is now done, according to the journalist. The Gabonese would have signed his termination in recent hours, thus opening the way to a free return to the Canebière.

OM would only wait until the finalization of the latest details to formalize what promises to be a nice summer blow. If everything goes as planned, the return of Aubameyang could be made in the coming days.

Last season, the Gabonese striker scored 21 goals in 36 games in all competitions with Al-Qadsiah. During his visit to OM in 2023-2024, he had already won the public by planting 30 goals in 51 games.
