Arsenal wishes to strengthen all positions during this transfer window. After the names of Gyökeres, Rodrygo or Madueke in the attacking sector, the Gunners are now attacking a Portuguese midfielder in Bayern Munich: João Palhinha. Indeed, according to the journalist of BildChristian Falk, the London club would have attempted a concrete approach to get attached to the services of João Palhinha. After the departures of Thomas Partey and Jorginho, the Gunners are forced to strengthen themselves in the sentinel post. And the profile of the Portuguese, large (1m90), solid on its supports, with a big quality of recovery, that's exactly what it takes in Arsenal to keep the balance with the offensive armada which is created over the transfer window.

The native of Lisbon does not seem to enter the plans of his coach, Vincent Kompany. He started only 9 games as a holder this season, all competitions: too little for a player bought more than 50 million euros. He is preceded by Kimmich, Goretzka, Pavlovic or Laimer. A departure is therefore to be expected this summer, and he could well be interested in Arsenal, he who already knows very well London and the Premier League: he evolved two seasons on the side of Fulham.
