This Thursday, Italy faced Portugal on the occasion of the second day of group B of the Women's Euro. Cristiana Girelli scored the first goal of the meeting, in the 70th minute of play, of a magnificent rolled strike which finished its race in the opposite skylight.

While the players of Andrea Soncin thought they were holding their tickets for the quarter-finals of the continental competition, the Lusitanian team equalized at the end of the game by Diana Gomes (1-1, 88th).

Atomized by Spain (7-1) during the first day, Portuguese can still hope to get out of their pool. They will have to beat Belgium during the last day while hoping that the Roja, already qualified, prevails against Italy.
