Since the inauguration of the new Paris Saint-Germain training center in Poissy, the old site, the Camp des Loges, has gradually lost its sparkle. Long dedicated to training and matches of the female and young team teams, this stadium, located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, was no longer at the heart of the Ile-de-France sports news. However, the next season should mark a revival for this enclosure of just over 2,100 seats.
Indeed, FC Versailles obtained the authorization of the French Football Federation (FFF) to play its championship games at the Georges-Lefèvre stadium, at the Loges camp, from the 2025-2026 season, reveals The Parisian. This decision comes shortly after the non -followed classification of an inquiry by the FFF disciplinary committee concerning any arranged matches involving the Versaillais club.
After a successful 2024-2025 season, with insured support by finishing thirteenth from the National, the Ile-de-France club will finally be able to find a playground close to its roots. This geographic stability is good news for FC Versailles and its supporters, often forced to long trips.
Several relocations
Since its climb in National in 2022, FC Versailles had to leave its Yvelines department and play its games at home at the Jean-Bouin stadium, in Paris, then at the Walter-Luzi stadium in Chambly, in the Oise, thus moving away from its historic audience.
This return to Camp des Loges, an emblematic site of regional football, should allow the Versaillais club to strengthen its links with its supporters and to find a local dynamic, while evolving in a framework adapted to the requirements of the National.
