After the qualifications of Fluminense and Chelsea, the quarter-finals of the World Cup of clubs continued this weekend with a huge shock between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich. Without Dembélé, still on the bench, the Parisians presented themselves with a kvaratskhelia-Doué-Barcola attack trio. Vincent Kompany also aligned his best team, with the French Coman, Olise and Upamecano. And despite a goalless first period, many things happened at the Mercedes-Benz Arena of Atlanta.

Because the two teams went from one goal to another at the start of the game, with a first frank opportunity for KVaratskhelia in the second post (17th), before Olise came across a Donnarumma in great shape (27th). And soon after, Neuer responded to his Italian colleague by making a sublime double-Parade in front of KVaratskhelia, well found by a large barcola (32nd). The Bavarians still thought of opening the scoring on a free kick deflected by Upamecano, but the French was clearly offside (45th+1).

A crazy end of the match

A first half of quality and unfortunately spoiled by the spectacular and serious injury of Musiala, after contact with Donnarumma at the ankle just before the break (45th+4). Despite this, Bayern Munich was more present and put under pressure a playful Parisian training, but which could not clearly set foot on the ball. But by dint of being confident, Neuer was completely lounging on a recovery and saw Dembélé take over and miss the frame of a few millimeters (74th).

And on a beautiful Parisian recovery, Goué was found at the entrance to the surface and could drop a beautiful strike at ground to the ground to leave Neuer helpless (1-0, 79th). The hardest part was made for Paris Saint-Germain, but Pacho, author of a heavy sole on Goretzka, was logically expelled (83rd) and left Paris to ten for the end of the match. And even new, after a stupid expulsion of Hernandez (90th+3). But after a few very complicated minutes, PSG held up and even managed to get the second goal, signed Dembélé (2-0, 90th+6). PSG therefore hardly obtains its ticket for the semi-finals, against the winner of the match between Dortmund and Real Madrid.
