Giroud explained his disappointing passage to Lafc by declaring that the style of play in MLS “Did not necessarily suit him”.
The 38 -year -old was under contract until the end of the year, but the club and agreed to separate, allowing him to join Lille for free.

“The style of play in MLS did not necessarily suit me”, said Giroud during his presentation in Lille on Wednesday. “Return to France 13 years later is an incredible opportunity and challenge for me.”
