Former Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is about to leave Lyon to join the Saudi pro League.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the Neom SC, Saudi Pro League club, finalized the steps to recruit French this summer. The 34-year-old is currently free after his departure from Lyon and it seems that he is now heading for the Middle East.

The Lyon striker was prolific for his second visit to Ligue 1, scoring 72 goals in 116 games after his departure from Arsenal in 2022. But after not having extended his contract with the Rhodanian team, the French international, selected 16 times, seems to be off to join the promoter Neom next season.

Lacazette will join Benzema

The player of 1.75 MA left Lyon for Arsenal in 2017 for an amount of up to 60 million euros (51.5 million pounds sterling). He was a certain success, enrolling 71 goals in 206 appearances for the Gunners. He also helped them win the FA Cup 2020.
