Catastrophe for Paris FC

A new era begins in Ligue 1 with the rise of Paris FC. The French capital finally has two clubs in the hexagonal elite and, even better, the PFC intends to settle at the top of the poster since the club's acquisition by the Arnault family (Bernard Arnault is part of the top 10 of the richest in the world) last November. The team trained by Stéphane Gilli ended in 2nd place in Ligue 2 behind Lorient last May and thus offers the right to participate in the first division.

Paris FC knows, like the other 16 Ligue 1 clubs (plus OL or the Stade de Reims), its calendar of the season. The residents of Stade Jean-Bouin, exactly in front of the Parc des Princes on the edge of Paris in the 16th arrondissement, will play for the first time at home on August 31 against FC Metz, the third promoted from Ligue 2 via the dams (winners of the Rémois).

The PFC will therefore start with two outdoor matches, in Angers on the weekend of August 17, and at the Vélodrome stadium against OM, the next week. A delicate discovery of the championship since the Ile -de -France training will therefore play four times outside on its first six matches scheduled in August and September (they will go to Brest and Nice and will receive Strasbourg).

An alternation between Paris FC and PSG

The stadiums of the two Parisian clubs being therefore distant from a street, the LFP managed to alternate the home and exterior matches of the two teams. PSG and PFC will receive a single weekend, that of May 3, 2026. PSG begins in Nantes and Paris FC could therefore have been very well played at home, especially since the Stade Français, which is playing in Jean-Bouin, does not start the top 14 in September …

To accompany the excellent Jean-Philippe Krasso, the dribbler Ilan Kebbal, the experienced Maxime Lopez (and his big brother Juilen), the defender Timothée Kolodziejczak or even guardian of Blueberries Obed Nkambadio, Paris FC recruited Moses Simon to FC Nantes and wishes to strengthen with other players of Ligue 1 as Benjamin André (34 years), on the departure of LOSC.
