Samir Nasri, thunderclap in sight

It's not just football players who are the subject of a transfer window. This is also the case for commentators and consultants, who can go from one chain to another between two seasons.

This summer, one of the hottest files concerns Samir Nasri. The former OM player, Arsenal and Manchester City has been a consultant for Canal+ since September 2021, and the announcement of the end of his player career. He officiates very regularly in the Champions Cup channel, where he sometimes offers some passionate debates with Bertrand Latour.

Like Kylian Mbappé last year with Paris Saint-Germain, Samir Nasri arrives at the end of the contract with Canal+. Its lease has not been renewed according to the Team, which indicates that another antenna is interested in the former French international.

Samir Nasri with Xavier Domergue?

Samir Nasri is indeed one of the consultants targeted by LFP Media to land on the future channel of the Ligue 1. Raphaël Varane, Didier Drogba and Eden Hazard were surveyed, in vain. It is not yet known if Samir Nasri would intervene to comment on the big posters, or would rather deliver his analysis in set, as he did in recent years on Canal+.

Regarding commentators, Nicolas de Tavernost, former boss of M6 and now manager of LFP Media, would have targeted Xavier Domergue, commentator No. 1 of… M6. While he must comment on the Blues in the next two World Cups (2026 and 2030), an agreement could be reached to work on the two antennas. Ligue 1 and Blues calendars can actually accommodate.
