Mike Maignan's future should not be written on the other side of the Channel. In the absence of an agreement between AC Milan and Chelsea before the kick -off of the Club World Cup, the tricolor goalkeeper seems to be off to pursue his adventure in Lombardy.

According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport
Published this Tuesday, the Frenchman is indeed in the plans of the new Milanese coach, Massimiliano Allegri. The Italian technician would have even played a decisive role in convincing the 29 -year -old to stay.

Maignan master of his destiny

Optimism is therefore to put the side of the Rossoneri. The club's management would be confident as to a contract extension, while the current lease of the Blues porter runs until June 2026.

One year before the deadline, the vice-world champion 2022 has all the cards in hand to decide on his future. And his decision, whatever it may be, will be of great importance when the World Cup will compete next year.
