Seville FC names Matías Almeyda coach

In search of a new coach since the end of the adventure of Joaquín Caparrós – who had taken care of the acting first team after the dismissal of Xavier García Piminta last April – the Sevilla FC decided to enlist the manager Matías Almeyda for the next three seasons. The Argentinian has been stationed at AEK Athens since 2022.

“The Sevilla FC concluded an agreement with Matías Almeyda (September 21, 1973) for the Argentinian coach to become the new Blanquirrojos coach for the next three seasons from July. The Argentinian, who will arrive in Seville in July, will start his second visit to the Nervion club after joining the footballer there during the 1996/97 season ”indicates the Andalusian club.
