When Robert Lewandowski signed at Barça, it was announced that he would win less than in Bayern. But that is not quite true. The Polish salary in Germany was twelve million nets per year, against ten in Barcelona. The reduction therefore existed, but only during its first season. From the second season, his fixed salary increased to a total of 104 million gross out of four seasons.
While last season, he had already won six million gross in addition to the twenty million of his first year, for the 2024-25 season which has just ended, it is twelve million more. In other words, Robert received a fixed net salary of sixteen million euros. A amounts that increase because clauses stipulate him when the Pole finished champion and top scorer of the club. This sum could even have been 18 million euros in the event of a hat-trick, but the club lost to the Champions League semi-final.
