PSG, a transfer to 100 million euros that will chat

Number of arrivals: zero. Paris Saint-Germain is one of those European cadors who have not yet really started their transfer window. The capital's club, satisfied with its workforce, did not see fit to add one or two elements before the Club World Cup, as some of the participants were able to do so.

Last season, Parisian leaders had done phenomenal work. The arrivals of William Pacho, Joao Neves and Désiré Doué did a lot of good to the Luis Enrique team. And the recruitment this winter of KHVICHA KVAratskhelia this winter (for 70 million euros all the same) brought a real added value.

We can talk about full box. But PSG has not just had just on the transfer window in recent years, far from it. The examples are quite numerous, and in the list of disappointments, we can include Hugo Ekitike. Recruited for 30 million euros, the former player of the Reims stadium left for a little more than half of this sum, in the direction of the Eintracht Frankfurt.

Ekitike, PSG could benefit from it despite everything

Hugo Ekitike failed to win PSG but there is no shortage of talent. And his two good seasons in Germany could have a transfer in the Premier League, where Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in him. The price set by his club? 100 million euros, excuse a little.

It seems high, but Frankfurt has gotten used to selling his attackers very well: 50 million for Sébastien Haller in West Ham, 63 million for Luka Jovic at Real Madrid, 75 million for Omar Marmoush in Manchester City and of course 90 million euros for Randal Kolo Muani… at PSG.

For the capital's club, this Ekitike soap opera is both good and bad news. The negative point is the confirmation that PSG has missed something with this talented player. The positive is that the champions of France had seen fit to include a clause in the transfer to perceive 20% of the added value on a possible resale. This should be substantial …
