Barcelona hopes to be active this summer, but recruitments will probably depend on sales made during the next transfer window.

The well -known financial difficulties of the club imply that players must first leave, and a possible transfer could open the way to a new arrival.

It is not a secret for anyone: Barcelona aims for a new goalkeeper and a left winger. Joan Garcia will be the new number one after his arrival from Espanyol, while Luis Diaz is the main target of the club at the offensive position.

Barcelona could recruit a new left side this summer

In addition to these two targets, Sport reports that Barcelona has intensified her efforts to recruit a new left side.

Last week, it was reported that the current left side replacing Gerard Martin could join the Premier League this summer. The 23 -year -old, author of 46 appearances all competitions last season, first aroused the interest of the Wolves, and he is now coveted by AFC Bournemouth.

Barcelona is open to the sale of Martin and hopes to obtain 12 million euros. If an agreement materializes, the idea is to recruit a replacement, especially since Alex Valle has already been sold at the Como de Cesc Fabregas.

Grimaldo: a release clause of 15 million euros

In the event of Martin's departure, Barcelona began to consider left -back posts. At this point, the main candidate sought is the former Masia player, Alex Grimaldo. The 29 -year -old has excelled in Bayer Leverkusen since his arrival from Benfica two years ago, but with the arrival of Xabi Alonso in Real Madrid, he could be the latest player to leave the Bundesliga giant.

Grimaldo would benefit from a release clause of 15 million euros, which would constitute an interesting offer for a player of his quality. It remains to be seen if Barcelona will make serious efforts, but for the moment, it is unlikely that it will happen, except departure from Martin.
