After Ligue 1, Dazn is now turning to the Club World Cup. Holding the rights of the new competition launched by FIFA, which will be played from June 15 to July 13 in the United States, the British platform unveiled its device on Tuesday to cover the event.
The chain, which will broadcast the tournament matches free of charge, has notably formalized the arrival of two new consultants. These are two former Parisians: Mamadou Sakho and Claude Makelélé. The latter will be on site in the United States to follow PSG as closely as possible, the only French club which participates in the competition.
“PSG is on fire (on fire) as they say, was delighted Mamadou Sakho. It was an experience that was offered to me, I thought about a long time. In the end I start, it's going to be a nice experience with a great team. »»
Dazn announces big news
In addition to the two new ones, the usual consultant team will also be mobilized for the occasion. We will therefore find Benoît Cheyrou, Jérémy Menez, Charlotte Lorgéré, Jimmy Cabot, Gaël Clichy or Walid Achechour. Dazn will also offer a magazine every match evening with Amber Godillon at the presentation.
The streaming platform has made other announcements on the exceptional device set up. We learn that the referees will be equipped with a camera, that the coaches and their assistants will be sounded and that the locker rooms will be filmed before and after the matches. There will also be a sound system of the “Cooling Break”, these fresh breaks in the middle of a match.
