While the future of Marquinhos remains pending at this hour, PSG does not hide working to strengthen the central hinge of its defense. After having a happy hand by debaucing the Equatorian Willian Pacho on the side of Frankfurt last summer, the club of the capital targeted its news (good?) Potential drawn.

The lucky one is called Ilya Zabarnyi and distinguished himself this season in the ranks of Bournemouth, an unexpected ninth of the Premier League. Trained at Dynamo kyiv, the 22 -year -old defender (1m89) has been playing in England since 2023 and already displays 86 matches on the clock with the Cherries.

Currently in selection with Ukraine, the person concerned would like to join Paris, according to L'Equipe. An assumed choice that could make the business of a PSG for the time being faced with the high requirements of the management of Bournemouth. To give in its defensive pillar, the club in the south of the kingdom awaits no less than 70 million euros indeed.

Too expensive for PSG?

Under contract until June 2029, Llya Zabarnyi is estimated at 42 million euros today on the Specialized Transfermarkt site. This is to say the GAP which exists between the alleged market value of the boy and the claims of a club which is not necessarily a seller and knows perfectly the reputation of a good payer of the recent laureate of the Champions League.

A year ago, as a reminder, PSG had spent 40 million euros to afford the services of Willian Pacho. The biggest transfers of defenders still in the workforce to date relate to Achraf Hakimi (68 million), Lucas Hernandez (45 million), Nuno Mendes (38 million) and of course Marquinhos (31.4 million).
