The French team will complete their career in the Nations League this Sunday against Germany, as part of the match for third place. A small final scheduled at 3 p.m., raising curtain of the large evening poster between Portugal and Spain (9 p.m.).

Present at a press conference the day before, the Mannschaft coach Julian Nagelsmann, looked at the qualities of the Blues. And for the German technician, a force stands out clearly.

“I don't think they were so superior”

“You will not have to leave too much room for maneuver to the opponent and let it benefit from its speed, you will have to close the spaces”, he warned. “The French are very strong but it is not because we have no defender who runs at 36 km/h that we will say that we do not play the match. Joshua Kimmich managed to brake Neto who goes to 36 km/h (during the semi-final lost by the Germans against Portugal). »»

Despite the defeat of the Blues Thursday against Spain (4-5) in the semi-finals, the former coach of Bayern Munich did not observe a real gap between the two formations. “France has played better, especially the first 20 minutes. Then there was a little confusion for a few minutes and they met, but Spain had not had an action before the one who led the first goal. The Spaniards were effective, but I don't think they were so superior ”concluded Nagelsmann.
