A few weeks ago, Barça sports director, Deco, underlined the need to strengthen the position of winger to offer alternatives to Raphinha and Lamine Yamal. The name of Luis Díaz was immediately associated with the club, and Deco himself admitted to appreciate the Colombian. But it is not the only name that returns to the Catalan offices. According to the German newspaper BildHansi Flick would be interested in the signing of Ivan Perisic, who recently played for the PSV and is currently a free agent.
While Luis Díaz could serve as an alternative to Raphinha, Perisic is considered a potential replacement for Lamine Yamal. At 36, the age of Perisic could be considered a drawback, but it could also serve as a precious counterweight for a very young team from Barça who needs players with leadership and experience, like the signing of Lewandowski a few years ago.
