With a disability, the latter was, in fact, stealing his wheelchair, worth 4,800 euros, as reported here by Paris Ile-de-France. As he is used to, this PSG fan had left him on a platform provided for this purpose before going downstairs. “These are species of small parking lots for five or six armchairs”details Gauthier, one of Mathys' friends.
“We, we did as usual, that is to say that we parked the Mathys chair in this reserved location, we wore it – as we do in every match – to sit down, in the front row, with us in the stands”. At the end of the game, Mathys and his friends finally found that the wheelchair had disappeared. “They put Mathys on a stretcher, they took us by ambulance to the parking lot where I was parked, we were able to sit Mathys in the car and return to Paris”specifies Gauthier. Back in Paris, Mathys filed him a complaint.
