Rumors circulate around Neymar, some Spanish media suggesting a real interest from Pachuca.

Pachuca is preparing for his debut in club World Cup on June 18 against Salzburg, now under the leadership of Jaime Lozano, recently appointed coach following the departure of Guillermo Almada.

Los Tuzos have strengthened their workforce with key arrivals like Agustín Palavecino (de Necaxa), Robert Kenedy (from Real Valladolid) and José Castillo (de Chivas).

Neymar will not go to Liga MX

The club does not exclude other recruitments. Among the names that circulate is the Uruguayan defender Federico Pereira, Liga MX champion with Toluca. Rumors also circulate around Neymar Jr., some Spanish media suggesting a real interest from Pachuca to recruit him for the tournament.

The president of Pachuca, Armando Martínez, denied any negotiation with the Brazilian superstar, declaring in an interview with Radio Fórmula:

Pachuca closes the door

“I think someone launched his name hoping that another team from the borde tournament at the hook. I do not even use social networks, and yet I started to receive SMS. Nobody offered us Neymar, and we did not ask for it. To be honest, I even called Jesús (Martínez) to ask him if it was true – because you never know with him – and he replied: “Of course not, especially with everything we owe. »»

Neymar is under contract with the Santos FC until the end of June. He did not extend his contract, which makes him a potentially free player this summer. Since 2023, he has only played 27 games, scoring only three goals in 12 games for Santos, missing several games due to injury.
