FC Barcelona made Luis Díaz its priority to strengthen the left corridor after having secured the arrival of goalkeeper Joan Garcia. The Colombian, under contract with Liverpool until 2027, wishes to join Barça, which creates a certain optimism on the Catalan side. But the Reds do not intend to facilitate the operation: no formal contact has been recorded according to The Timesand the English club requires € 80 million, an amount that Barça does not intend to approach.

Behind the scenes, the Blaugranas hope that the player's desire will switch the situation, especially if Liverpool must balance his accounts after the Recruitment of Frimpong and the potentially expensive approach of Florian Wirtz. Luis Díaz, author of 17 goals this season, is seen by Deco as an ideal profile for the Flick system. In case of failure, Marcus Rashford remains an alternative deemed more affordable.
