Once again, the Olympian transfer window promises to be particularly eventful. Qualified for the Champions League thanks to its beautiful second place in Ligue 1, the leaders of Olympique de Marseille intend to build a workforce capable of playing on all tables.

Many recruits are expected and Pablo Longoria does not intend to waste time. While Luis Henrique should engage in the next few days with Inter Milan, which should bring some 25 million euros to the Marseille club, several players are already on approach.

According to information from Tyc Sports, the Lensois defender Facundo Medina is in the process of engaging with the sky and white. Very good news for the vice-champions of France. After five seasons spent at the RC Lens, the Argentinian international certainly benefits from an exit voucher, but OM will have had to break its piggy bank to attract the playing past by River Plate since the sum of 25 million euros is mentioned in the Argentine press.

OM competition with LOSC

And another defender could quickly follow, this time to strengthen his left corridor. The Marseille club would indeed have views of Mitchel Bakker, a former PSG player, with whom he notably played the Champions League final lost to Bayern Munich in 2020.

The Dutch international, loaned this year to LOSC, is under contract with Atalanta Bergame until 2027 but does not enter the plans of the Lombard club. And if the DOGUES are on the ranks to definitively acquire the former Parisian, OM would have made it one of its priorities to strengthen its left corridor where Amar dedic, landed last winter, disappointed and did not worry Quentin Merlin.
