Parisian supporters waited, but they finally have this famous star. On Saturday evening, the capital's club rolled on the Inter in a final which they dominated from a long time, crushing their opponent in the one who was the least balanced final in the history of the competition. Inevitably, thousands and thousands of PSG fans were released in the streets to party, in Paris necessarily, but also in the rest of France, where the band of Luis Enrique has many supporters. And, as it was unfortunately to be expected, there were overflows.

Many scenes of violence, clashes with the various police forces present and burned cars were reported in various points in the capital. In the surroundings of the Parc des Princes first, then on the Champs-Elysées and at Trocadéro in particular. Overflows which had also started before the final whistle, which had pushed Bruno Retailleau to express themselves: “The real PSG supporters are enthusiastic about the magnificent match of their team. Meanwhile, barbarians came to the streets of Paris to commit crimes and provoke the police ”.

Tensions in Paris but also in the provinces

Stores have been looted like the Champker Locker of Champs-Elysées, burned cars, and even firefighters were taken to task in the capital, where we attended real urban guerrilla scenes. Curiously, it was especially in the provinces that there were the most serious incidents. On the side of Dax, a teenager was even killed with a knife near a fan zone, while in Grenoble, a ram car made several injured in the same family. Violence has also been reported in Lille or Nantes.

According to information from Figarothe provisional assessment of the night reports 427 arrests in France. Nine police officers were injured just in Paris following these clashes with the supporters. Scenes that were expected – more than 5,400 police officers were mobilized just in Paris – and who came to spoil a party during which the majority of Parisians will still celebrate in joy and good humor.
