The great glory of Senegalese football El-Hadji Diouf is very affected by this tragic disappearance.

Revealed in his country, at the CF Mounana, Aaron Boupendza was recruited by the Girondins de Bordeaux in 2016. He evolved in reserve before chaining loans, in Pau FC, at Gazélec Ajaccio and the FC Tours (in National then in Ligue 2). He then embarked on a world tour by playing in Portugal, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Romania and therefore China.

Diouf attended a tribute to Boupendza, this week in Libreville, and was very moved.

Diouf: “Africa has lost a soldier”

“We are all moved by everything that has happened. Our younger brother, we knew it, who had a lot of talent, left us and the good Lord wanted so. All believers, we pray for him so that his soul rests in peace in paradise. I ask his family, to the Gabonese people, to be strong for this departure from Aaron Boupendza. Africa has lost a soldier. Africa lost a warrior because above all, Aaron was a soldier. And we, the internationals, are used to saying it, when we enter a football field, 'we are killed but we do not dishonor'. And the little one has always been able to represent it. I therefore send my condolences to the whole Gabonese family and people ”launched Diouf, as reported girondins4ever.com.

El-Hadji Diouf, an idol of African football (African Ballon d'Or in 2001 and 2002), was passing through Gabon for the “Legends Gala” organized at the Monedan stadium in Libreville. The former French international Florent Malouda was also there and attended the tribute paid to Aaron Boupendza.
