New turnaround for OL

Threatened with an administrative demotion by the DNCG (the French club control body), OL will be auditioned on June 24 and the owner John Textor will have to demonstrate, as he has been calming for months, that his heavy debts are not a problem thanks to potential money entries. The Lyon club has embarked on other administrative problems in recent weeks.

On Monday, FIFA prohibited Gones to record new players due to an unpaid 2,000 euros in terms of training compensation dating from last winter. The next day, the recruitment ban was lifted by the international body.

This Wednesday is the newspaper The team Who announced that Olympique Lyonnais had obtained its UEFA license allowing it to compete in the Europa League next season. The FFF commission which attributes the UEFA license to have deprived the Rhone club participation in a next European Cup!

OL leaders were interviewed last Friday and it was also the DNCG that assessed certain financial criteria. John Textor and his team provided new documents which therefore reassured the commission requested by the FFF.
