Real Madrid, a big blow announced!

After Carlo Ancelotti and Luka Modric, another legend of Real Madrid folds luggage. The Spanish club announced on Tuesday in a statement the departure of Raul Gonzalez, the most capped player in the history of the White House (323 goals in 741 matches, from 1994 to 2010).

“Real Madrid Cf announces that Raul has informed the club of its decision to end its mandate as coach of our youth team”indicates Casa Blanca. The former Spanish striker (47) led Castilla, the Madrid reserve team since the 2018-2019 season.

He had notably won the Youth League, the Junior Champions League in 2020. But this role was no longer suitable for Raul, which hoped to take the reins of Grand Real Madrid. The replacement of Carlo Ancelotti by Xabi Alonso finally convinced him that his future was elsewhere.
