Unlike his runner -up, the new Croatian champion does not have a UEFA clue capable of ahead of the Olympian club in the event of qualification for the group stage and the Marseillais are therefore now assured of being in the third hat.
Heavy on all floors
However, OM must prepare for a complicated draw. The composition of the first two hats has something to give some cold sweats to the Marseillais. The first brings together the European gratin with therefore for potential opponents for OM: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Borussia Dormund and FC Barcelona.
Hat 2 also looks great with Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, Atlético Madrid, Atalanta Bergame, Villarreal, Juventus, Eintracht Frankfurt as well as Club Bruges and Benfica if they pass the preliminary towers.
Finally, Tottenham and Naples will clearly be the teams to avoid in hat 3 while in hat 4, OM will have an interest in avoiding Athletic Bilbao and Newcastle.
