13 years later, Luka Modric will therefore leave the Spanish capital. Midfielder who can now be described as legendary and among the main craftsmen of the horrifying number of titles won by Real Madrid since his arrival, he will leave a huge void. Even if he had inevitably lost importance in the team lately, he was often aligned in big games and remained one of the locker rooms of the locker room. While waiting to know what its future will be, the Merengue staff has already started working on the future.

The daily AS So tells us that Real Madrid has chosen to separate from the Croatian because it wishes to bring new blood in the workforce. Merengues leaders did not want him to take the place of a player younger than him, slowing down his progress. The club thus wishes to start a new cycle, on the bench with Xabi Alonso but also in the team, and Luka Modric must give way to other players. The Madrilenians want in particular that Derne Güler and Nico Paz (FC Côme), who will be repatriated this summer or the next, have more opportunities and are not barred by Modric, especially in the big deadlines.

A “galactic” to replace Modric

The management therefore counts on the Turkish and the Argentinian to take over, but only partially, since it should especially invest in a big name in the middle. To replace it, Xabi Alonso as management first designated a big favorite: Florian Wirtz. Dredged by other big European stables, the current Bayer Leverkusen player seems to go to Liverpool, however, since a contractual agreement would now exist between the German attacking midfielder and the Reds. Despite this possible failure, the will of Madrid leaders remains to bring in a big name and not necessarily make a bet or entrust the keys of the truck to players already present in the workforce.

In recent hours, the Enzo Fernandez track has also equaled the Madrid media, and it is almost as expensive as that leading to German international. We imagine that Xabi Alonso, who nevertheless wanted to keep the Croat, will have his say and that this possible passage in another system than the classic 4-3-3 of recent years in Madrid will give more opportunities and responsibilities. A player like Eduardo Camavonga could thus take on the field. Anyway, Real Madrid will not be caught.
