FC Barcelona continues its policy of recruiting promising young players across Europe. If the Masia remains a pool of talents, the sports management wishes to fill certain gaps in the succession chain to the first team, by focusing on external profiles. Among the currently targeted players are Mikkel Bro Hansen, a 16-year-old Danish center already appeared with the Bodo/Glimt first team, and Abdellah Ouazane, Ajax midfielder, also 16, courted by several major European clubs, reveals Sport.
Barça recently supervised Bro Hansen in an International U16 match between Denmark and England, and follows its progress in the Norwegian championship carefully. As for Ouazane, Moroccan and Dutch binational, its technical profile and its versatility attract the eye, although competition is already tough, with in particular the alleged interest of PSG. It remains to be seen if the Blaugranas will be able to attract the two nuggets to their nets this summer.
