Cintuple winner of the Champions League with Real Madrid, Casemiro, 33, can win the Europa League with Manchester United this Wednesday against Tottenham.

Casemiro is, by far, the player with the most beautiful record of the final of the Europa league 100% English between Manchester United and Tottenham. Before joining the Red Devils (with whom he won a FA Cup and a League Cup), the Brazilian midfielder, now 33 years old, amassed the trifle of 18 titles with Real Madrid, including five Champions League!

Not imperial in the Premier League for three seasons but essential to the Ruben Amorin team in recent months in the European Cup, especially during the legendary raising against OL (5-4 AD on return), Casemiro is aligned from the start by its coach for the shock against the Spurs, in San Mamés (kick-off 9 p.m., live on Canal+). He is associated with Bruno Fernandes in the midfield.

Casemiro Holder, not Ugarte or Garnacho

Ruben Amorim made strong choices by starting Luke Shaw in central defense and Mason Mount and Amad Diallo in support of Rasmus Hojlund. Wesir Mazraoui and Patrick Dorgu will be the pistons of 3-4-2-1 of the Portuguese technician. Diogo Dalot, Manuel Ugarte, Kobbie Mainoo, Christian Eriksen and Alejandro Garnacho are all replacements.

On the London side, the little surprise comes from the absence of its heung-min in the starting eleven. The South Korean captain has just returned to competition. Brennan Johnson, Dominic Solanke and Richarlison form the offensive trio of Tottenham. Wilson Odobert and Mathys so start on the bench, just like Kevin Danso.

The eleven of Man United: Onana – Mazraoui, Maguire, Yoro – Dorgu, Casemiro, Fernandes, Shaw – Diallo, Mount – Hojlund.

The eleven of Tottenham: Vicario – Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie – Sarr, Bentancur, Bissouma – Johnson, Solanke, Richarlison.
