Valence has kept his word. On May 15 released the Netflix documentary dedicated to Vinicius Junior. A documentary that has caused a lot of ink to flow within the Ché club. The reason? A sequence from the Valence-Real Madrid match in which the word “tonto” (idiot), chanted by part of the public against the Brazilian, is subtitled on the screen by “mono” (monkey). A very different and above all racist term. Valencia has therefore denounced manipulation and now requires compensation.

“Given the injustice and the lies committed against supporters of the Valencia CF, the club demanded in writing an immediate rectification on the part of the producer of the documentary for what happened in Mestalla, which does not correspond to reality. Truth and respect for our supporters must prevail. Valencia CF reserves the right to bring legal action ”can we read on the press release.
